Giveaway Appearance

Customise the giveaway message, the buttons under it and the shareable giveaway page.

Everything a member looks at is set once, on the configuration page, and every giveaway you post after that uses it. There is no per giveaway styling, so a change here lines all of your giveaways up.

Access the Web Dashboard

Open your Tickety Dashboard. Log in using your Discord Account.

Navigate to Configuration

Once logged in, locate and click on the "Giveaways" section in the sidebar.
Select "Configuration" from the options.

Giveaway Embed

Embed Color - The colour bar down the side of the giveaway message. Defaults to #2986cc.
Embed Thumbnail 👑 - A small image in the top right corner. Accepts png, jpg, jpeg, webp and gif.
Embed Image 👑 - A large image across the bottom of the message. Same file types.

Text 👑 - The line at the very bottom of the giveaway message. Up to 2000 characters. Defaults to Tickety | Tickety.top.
Icon 👑 - A small image next to the footer text. Defaults to Tickety's avatar.

Placeholders work in the footer, which is the one place a giveaway message can carry live numbers:

Participate Button 👑

The button members press to enter. You set its emoji, its label and its colour.

Type {count} anywhere in the label to show the live number of participants. The default label is Participate ({count}).
The label goes up to 80 characters.
Colours are Blurple, Gray, Green and Red. The default is Blurple with a 🎉 emoji.
Custom server emojis need premium. Unicode emojis work on any plan.

Keep {count} in the label if you want members to see the entry count rise. A label without it shows no number at all.

Free servers always get a blurple 🎉 Participate (0) button, counting up as members join, whatever is saved on this page.

Every giveaway also gets a page on tickety.top that anybody can open in a browser, with no Discord account needed. A running giveaway shows the prize, the winner count, the entry count, the host, a countdown or a goal progress bar, and a Join in Discord button. An ended giveaway shows the winners with their avatars, the total participants, when it ended, and a View in Discord button.

Page Link decides where members can open it from:

Link the Prize - The prize heading on the giveaway message becomes a link. This is the default.
Link Button - A separate View Giveaway button is added to the message instead.
Disabled - The page is not linked anywhere, and the address stops working even for somebody who already has it.

The Link Button keeps working after the giveaway ends, because the page has an ended view with the winners on it. Only Disabled takes the page away.

Turning the page off does not affect Web Captcha. That link is separate and keeps working.

FAQ Configuration

A FAQ button on the giveaway message lets members browse and search your answers without leaving the channel. Useful for the questions every giveaway attracts: who can enter, when it ends, how the prize is delivered.

FAQ Panel - The panel the button opens. Leave it empty and no FAQ button is added.
Sync Embed Color 👑 - Makes the FAQ answers use your giveaway embed colour instead of the panel's own colour.
FAQ Button - The emoji, label and colour of the button. Defaults to a gray ❓ FAQ.

On the FAQ button the emoji and the label are free to change. Only the colour needs premium, and custom server emojis need premium like everywhere else. See FAQ buttons on other features.
