Tickety TeamDecember 12, 20254 min readTickety v3 is the biggest update we have ever shipped. Large parts of the bot were rebuilt from the ground up, and the release adds a complete verification suite, a new analytics engine, an advanced giveaway system, native Bloxlink support, and over 40 improvements across tickets, applications, transcripts, and the dashboard. Here is a full tour of what changed.
A complete verification suite
Verification is the headline feature of v3. You can now gate your server behind the method that fits your community best:
- Web verification. Members verify on a web page by solving a captcha or by voting on Top.gg before they get access.
- Captcha in Discord. Members solve a captcha without ever leaving Discord, which keeps the flow quick and familiar.
- Click to pass. A single button press, for servers that want a light gate rather than a hard wall.
Every method is configured from the dashboard, so you can design the verification panel, pick the verified role, and go live in a few clicks. Verification is included on the free plan.
Analytics you can act on
The statistics engine was overhauled. The dashboard now visualises ticket trends over ranges of 7, 14, or 30 days, so you can see how ticket volume develops, how quickly your team responds, and where your support flow can improve. If you run a busy server, this is the clearest picture of your support performance Tickety has ever given you.
An advanced giveaway system
Giveaways in v3 are flexible enough to double as growth events. A giveaway can end at a set time, like before, but it can now also end when your server reaches a member count or when the giveaway reaches a participant count. That means you can celebrate a member milestone or reward early entries without watching the counter yourself.
Native Bloxlink support
If you run a Roblox community, Tickety now integrates directly with Bloxlink. Members can verify their Roblox account through the flow they already know, without adding another bot or extra steps.
Tickets got smarter
The core ticket system picked up a long list of new abilities:
- Dynamic placeholders. A new engine replaces placeholders across all your messages and embeds, and form answers can now be injected straight into the ticket welcome message.
- Smart close suggestions. Close reasons autocomplete based on what your team actually types.
- Logging per panel. Each ticket panel can log to its own channel.
- Role blocks. Block specific roles from opening tickets or submitting applications to stop spam at the door.
- Manual autoclose control. The /ticket autoclose command lets you pause, cancel, or trigger autoclose for a single ticket on the spot, and admins can now force a claim off a ticket when needed.
- Free naming presets. Presets that combine the panel name with the creator's username or the ticket number are now available to everyone.
- Cleaner buttons. Toggle button emojis on or off, and show or hide the close and claim buttons independently on welcome messages.
- Free embeds. Title, description, and colour settings are now free on every embed.
Applications grew up too
The applications module received the same attention. Questions can carry detailed descriptions, answers can enforce minimum and maximum lengths with short or long input fields, and submissions respect configurable cooldowns. If an applicant leaves the server, their application is denied automatically so your queue stays clean. Best of all, an accepted application can be converted directly into a ticket for the follow up conversation.
A more polished dashboard and bot
Both the bot and the dashboard look and feel better in v3. The dashboard is noticeably faster, channels and roles autocomplete as you type, and dangerous actions now ask for confirmation in a proper modal instead of a text prompt. On the bot side, /ticket commands log their actions inside the ticket for transparency, the claimer is shown in the channel topic, the /history command was redesigned for readability, and the log viewer shows more detail. The autoresponder also got a smarter matching algorithm, and default messages across the bot were rewritten in a more professional tone.
Transcripts, rebuilt
The transcript engine is new. Transcripts load significantly faster and now render modern Discord components, including buttons, select menus, and modals, so what you read afterwards matches what actually happened in the ticket.
Stability across the board
Underneath the features, v3 is our most stable release. A new error handling system catches problems before they cause downtime, autoclose detects inactive tickets more reliably, permission checks are more robust, and the HTTP events layer was rewritten entirely. When something is misconfigured, error messages now link straight to the relevant dashboard page so you can fix it in seconds. On top of that, hundreds of smaller bugs were squashed.
How to get v3
There is nothing to install or migrate. v3 is already live on every server running Tickety, and your existing panels, tickets, and settings keep working as before. The new modules are waiting in the dashboard whenever you want to switch them on. If Tickety is not on your server yet, add it here, follow our setup guide, and explore the documentation for a deep dive into every module.
