Stop giveaway cheating and reward loyalty
Block alts with entry requirements, and give real members better odds.
People cheat giveaways with alts, second accounts made to enter more than once. Age limits and a captcha keep those out. Luck modifiers then give your real members more entries, and more entries means a better chance to win.
These are defaults on Configuration, copied into every new giveaway.
Open giveaway Configuration
Open your dashboard and pick your server. In the sidebar, under Giveaways, click Configuration.
Turn away new accounts and new members
Under Entry Requirements:
- Set Minimum Account Age in days, hours and minutes: how old a Discord account must be to enter. Brand new accounts are the cheapest kind of alt. Leave it at 0 to turn it off.
- Set Minimum Time in Server: how long someone must have been in your server. This stops old accounts that join just for the giveaway.
Both can be up to 730 days.
Add a captcha
Under Captcha Mode, pick Web Captcha, or Discord Numpad Captcha 👑. A captcha makes each entry prove there is a person behind it.
Set the luck modifiers
Under Luck Modifiers:
- Vote Entries is on for every server. Members who vote for Tickety on Top.gg get extra entries: 1 for the first vote, then 0.5 for each vote after, once every 12 hours.
- Stack Multipliers 👑 is off to start with: a member with several boosted roles only gets the best one. Turn it on to add them together.
- Press Add Boosted Role, pick a role, and drag Multiplier between 1.5x and 5.0x. Members with that role get more entries: 2.0x means one extra entry on top of their own.
The giveaway then lists the boosted roles and their multipliers:

Press Save Changes in the bar at the bottom of the page.
When you create a giveaway, the Access step has Boosted Roles Extra Entries, on to start with. It decides whether that giveaway uses your boosted roles.
