Settings
Set the admin role, the language, the look of Tickety's messages, the log channel and who can open your dashboard.
The Settings page holds the choices that apply to the whole server rather than to one panel. Everything Tickety sends, logs or lets your staff reach starts here.
Access the Web Dashboard
Open your Tickety Dashboard. Log in using your Discord Account.
Navigate to Settings
-
Once logged in, find the Tickety section in the sidebar.
-
Select Settings.
Admin Role
Pick one role that runs everything.
- Administrator Role - Select a role that can run every Tickety command and view all tickets, applications, verifications and giveaways in your server.
This is the role you give your management team so they never need Discord's Manage Server permission. It is also what makes commands like /blacklist and /adminrole work for someone who is not a server manager.
You can set the same role from Discord with /adminrole, which needs Manage Server or the role that is already set. Tickety refuses @everyone, and refuses a role that is already the admin role.
The Admin Role is not the only way to hand out command access. A role you switch on for a single command under Command Permissions can run that one command without holding the Admin Role.
Language
- Bot Language - Choose the language Tickety speaks in your server.
Tickety ships in 16 languages: English, Français, العربية, Čeština, Español, Polski, Türkçe, Deutsch, हिन्दी, 中文, Português (Brasil), Italiano, 日本語, 한국어, Bahasa Indonesia and Tiếng Việt.
The choice covers every message Tickety sends your members, including buttons, error replies and log entries. Text you write yourself, such as a panel description or a close message, is never translated.
You can also change the language from Discord with /language, which needs Manage Server or the Admin Role.
Customization
Two things live here: the small line under Tickety's messages, and the colour of the bar down their left side.
Individual embeds you build elsewhere, such as a ticket welcome message or a giveaway embed, can carry their own colour and footer. Those win over the values you set here.
General Message Footer 👑
- Text 👑 - The footer line, up to 50 characters. The default is
Tickety | Tickety.top. - Icon 👑 - A small image next to the footer text. Upload a png, jpg, webp or gif.
This feature requires a Premium Subscription.
General Embed Color
- General Embed Color - Press Pick Color and choose the colour used across Tickety's messages. The default is
#2986cc.
This one is free on every plan.
Logging
- Logging Channel - The channel Tickety writes its general log to. Pick a text channel, an announcement channel or a thread.
Every other log channel in the dashboard starts on Default, and Default means "send it here". Change this one channel and all of them move at once. A panel or feature you point at a channel of its own keeps that channel and ignores this setting.
With no channel selected here, everything left on Default logs nowhere. That covers new ticket and application panels, verification, giveaways and ticket ratings.
You can also set log channels from Discord with /logchannel, which needs Manage Server or the Admin Role. Its type option offers All (General, Verifications, Giveaways), General, Verifications and Giveaways. Leave the channel option empty on Verifications or Giveaways to send them back to following the general channel.
Access Control
Access Control is how someone opens your dashboard without holding Discord Administrator or Manage Server.
- Enable Access Control - Turn role based access on. While it is off, only the server owner and members with Administrator or Manage Server can open your server in the dashboard.
- Add Role Rule - Select a role and press Add Role to give it a rule of its own.
Each rule carries three switches:
- Full Dashboard Access - Unlocks every module and route in the dashboard.
- Ticket Management - Review ticket history, use live chat, and close tickets.
- Application Submissions - View and review application submissions.
Turning Full Dashboard Access on switches the other two on with it. Turning it back off leaves them exactly as they were, so you can hand someone ticket work without the rest of the dashboard.
When you enable Access Control for the first time, Tickety adds your current Admin Role as a starter rule with all three switches on. Edit it or remove it as you like.
| Free | Premium | |
|---|---|---|
| Role rules that apply | first 3 | 25 |
Rules past the free cap stay saved. They simply do nothing until premium comes back.
Access Control decides what someone sees in the dashboard. It does not decide who can run commands inside Discord. For the full picture of how access is worked out, read What permissions are needed to access the dashboard?.
Advanced Settings
- HTTP Events - Send an event to a web address you own every time something happens in Tickety. Paste the address, up to 512 characters, and switch the toggle on. The counter beside the label shows how many requests you have used today.
- HTTP Events Token - The secret your own server checks so it knows the request came from Tickety. Use the buttons under it to show it, copy it or regenerate it. Regenerating breaks anything still using the old token.
- Event Categories - Choose which events go out: Tickets (created, closed, claimed, renamed, moved, and more), Applications (submitted, accepted, denied), Verification (passed, failed) and Members (joined the server, left the server).
- Disable Stats Fields 👑 - Hides the public statistics on
/profileand/serverinfo. The View Statistics button goes grey, and pressing it on an older message answersStatistics Disabled.
| Free | Premium | |
|---|---|---|
| HTTP Events requests per day | 150 | unlimited |
The daily count resets at 00:00 UTC. Tickety warns you if the address is not a valid URL, and refuses a discord.com address, because the events have to reach a server you run.
HTTP Events sends data out of Tickety. It is not the same as the Integrations page, which brings data into Tickety. The full event list and payloads are documented under HTTP Events.
