Getting Started
Learn how to get Tickety up and running on your Discord server with step-by-step instructions for inviting the bot and configuring general dashboard settings!
Requirements
To begin with Tickety you will need one of the following;
- Ownership of the Discord server
Administratorlevel access on the Discord server
While it is possible to invite Tickety bot to your Discord server with just Manage Server level access, it is often the case that you are not able to grant all the permissions required and so our installation images does not currently cover this.
Our documentation assumes that you have a reasonable level of understanding on how to manage and configure a Discord server's permissions and channels.
Our Premium features will be indicated with a callout with this emoji.
Let's Invite Tickety!
To start let us invite Tickety to your Discord server.
You can also go to our Website and click on the invite link in the top right corner.
Select your Discord server from the drop down, click Continue.
Ensure all necessary permissions are granted, then click Authorize.
The permissions shown in the authorization prompt are the most recommended for optimal functionality.

Dashboard Settings
With the Tickety bot now in your Discord server, we can go ahead and access the Dashboard to set up a few general settings.
Log in to our Dashboard and click on Manage for your Discord server.
Can't see your server or only seeing an invite button even though Tickety is already in your server?
Visit our troubleshooting guide for help resolving this issue. Otherwise, carry on!

Once the server opens on its Home page, click on the Settings tab at the top of the left sidebar.
Here, you can configure some basic settings for your new Tickety bot. These settings are as follows;
| Setting Categories | Options | Description |
|---|---|---|
| Admin Role | Select a Discord role | Select a role that will be able to execute all commands and view all tickets, applications, verifications and giveaways in your server. |
| Language | Select a language | Choose one of the many languages we offer for the best user experience. |
| Customization | Configure General Message Footer and General Embed Color | Give Tickety's responses the looks of their dreams. The footer text and icon are premium 👑. |
| Logging | Select a logging channel | Track all general actions performed by Tickety in a single channel. Every other log channel follows this one unless it is pointed somewhere of its own. |
| Access Control | Toggle Enable Access Control and add role rules | Give your staff dashboard access without giving them Administrator. Each rule grants Full Dashboard Access, Ticket Management or Application Submissions. |
| Advanced Settings | Toggle Disable Stats Fields 👑 and configure HTTP Events | For people who are experienced with Tickety, there are some advanced options. HTTP Events allow 150 requests a day on free servers and are unlimited on premium. |
Access Control is the supported way to let a moderator use the dashboard. Free servers apply the first 3 role rules and premium servers apply the first 25. See What permissions are needed to access the dashboard?.
