Inactivity Notifications
Notify your staff when a submitted application has been sitting unreviewed for too long.
An application nobody looks at is worse than a denial. Inactivity notifications watch how long a submission has been waiting for a decision, and post an alert to your staff once it has waited too long.
The clock starts the moment the application is submitted and stops the moment somebody accepts or denies it.
Access the Web Dashboard
Open your Tickety Dashboard. Log in using your Discord Account.
Navigate to Inactivity Notifications

Once logged in, locate and click on the "Configuration" section in the sidebar under the APPLICATIONS category.

Select "Inactivity Notifications" from the configuration options.
Notification Behavior 👑
- 👑 Inactivity Notifications - Turns the alerts on for your whole server. Off by default.
- 👑 Notify After - How long an application may wait for a review before the first alert is sent. Set in days, hours and minutes. Defaults to 1 day.
Repeats 👑
- 👑 Maximum Notifications - How many alerts are sent in total for one application, counting the first one. Defaults to 1, which alerts once and then leaves you alone. The most you can set is 10.
- 👑 Repeat Every - The gap between repeat alerts while the application stays unreviewed. Defaults to 1 day. It is only used when Maximum Notifications is more than 1.
Deciding the application stops the repeats, whatever you set here.
Destination 👑
- 👑 Notification Channel - Where the alert is posted. It follows your general log channel unless you pick a channel here.
- 👑 Pinged Roles - The roles pinged in the alert. Up to 10. Leave it empty and the alert is posted without a ping.
If the channel is set to follow your general log channel and your server has no general log channel, nothing is sent. The page tells you so. Set one under Settings, or pick a channel here.
Notification Message 👑
The alert your staff sees. It starts as an embed titled Application Awaiting Review, naming the panel, the applicant, how long it has been waiting, and a jump link back to the review card so a reviewer can press Accept or Deny straight from the alert.
The editor handles the whole message: several embeds, colours, titles, descriptions, images and footers, or the components layout instead.

Muting a single application 👑
Some applications are meant to sit. Somebody is on holiday, or you are waiting on an interview. /application inactivity turns the alerts off for one application without touching the server setting.
- application - Required. Start typing a panel name, an applicant name or an applicant ID and pick from the list. Only submissions still waiting on a decision are offered.
Running it on a muted application turns the alerts back on again. The command answers with Inactivity Notifications Disabled or Inactivity Notifications Enabled so you always know which way it went.
Anyone in this list can run it:
- The panel's Review Role. This works on its own, without any Discord permission.
- Your Tickety admin role.
- Anyone with the Administrator permission.
- Any role you allowed through Command Permissions.
Turning the alerts back on measures the wait from when the application was submitted, not from when you ran the command. An application that has already been sitting longer than your Notify After is alerted on right away.
The command needs Inactivity Notifications switched on for the server first. Without that, it tells you the feature is disabled for this server, because there is nothing to mute.
This is not the same as denying on leave
Two different settings deal with applications that go nowhere, and they are easy to confuse:

An application denied because the applicant left is closed for good, and no alert is ever sent for it. Inactivity notifications only chase applications that are still worth a decision.
This feature requires a Premium Subscription.
