Welcome Card
Pick the layout and background of the image Tickety draws for every new member.
The welcome card is an image with the joining member's avatar and name on it. Tickety draws a fresh one for every join, and you decide whether it is attached to the welcome message, the welcome DM, or both. On the join that reaches a member milestone, the same card is drawn with a badge across the top.
Access the Web Dashboard
Open your Tickety Dashboard. Log in using your Discord Account.
Navigate to Welcome Card
-
Once logged in, locate and click on the "Welcomer" section in the sidebar, then select "Configuration".
-
Open the Welcome Card section on the page.
Choose a layout
Card Layout decides where the avatar and the text sit.
- Centered - Avatar on top with the name below. This is the default.
- Sidebar - Avatar on the left, text on the right.
- Custom 👑 - Opens a builder where you place everything yourself.
Choose a background
Background is the image behind the card. Six backgrounds are supplied, and all of them are free: Midnight (the default), Aurora, Sunset, Ocean, Forest and Nebula.
Two more tiles sit alongside them:
- Transparent - Renders the card with no background at all, so it sits flat against the Discord message.
- Upload your own 👑 - Use your own image. It accepts PNG, JPG, JPEG and WEBP files under 12 MB. Anything else is refused with
Please select a valid image file (png, jpg, jpeg, webp)orThe background image must be smaller than 12 MB.
The card is 1200 by 480 pixels and your image covers the whole of it, so upload something wide. A tall picture is cropped to fit.
Click your uploaded tile again to replace the image, or the small cross on it to remove it and go back to the supplied backgrounds.
Background Dim
Background Dim darkens the background so the text on top of it stays readable. It runs from 0% to 100% and starts at 35%.
Raise it if your background is busy or bright, and the names on the card become hard to read. The row disappears when the background is set to Transparent, because there is nothing to darken.
Preview
The Preview underneath is exactly how your card will look when a member joins. It uses your own Discord avatar and name, so you can judge the spacing straight away.
The member count in the preview is a sample number, not your real one.
Design your own layout 👑
Pick the Custom tile under Card Layout to open the builder. You drag blocks onto the card and place them where you want.
Four kinds of block are available:
| Block | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Avatar | The joining member's avatar |
| Username | The joining member's name |
| Member count | A line of your own text, meant for {guild.memberCount} |
| Text | Any line of your own text |
A layout holds up to 12 blocks, and only one of them may be an Avatar. Text and Member count blocks take up to 300 characters each, and accept placeholders, line breaks and Discord formatting such as **bold**, *italic*, __underline__ and ~~strikethrough~~. Username blocks have no text field, because the name comes from the member.
The header carries a Snap to edges and other elements toggle, which lines blocks up with the card edges and with each other as you drag.
Element settings
Select a block on the card and its settings appear beside it.
| Setting | What it does |
|---|---|
| Text | The words on a Text or Member count block. Type { to insert a placeholder, and select text to format it with the buttons above the field |
| Text size | How large the text is, from 8 to 160 |
| Color | The text colour |
| Alignment | Left, Center or Right. This moves the lines inside the text box, it does not move the box |
| Size | How large the avatar is |
| Shape | Circle, Rounded or Square for the avatar |
| Border width | The ring drawn around the avatar. Set a width before a colour can be picked |
| Border color | The colour of that ring |
More options holds the rest: Position, Text box width on text blocks, Roundness on the avatar, Rotation, Opacity, Text shadow, and Layer order for deciding what sits in front of what. Text shadow is on by default and helps the words stand out over a photograph.

Saving your layout
Saving takes two steps. Apply in the builder puts your layout on the page, and Tickety confirms with Layout applied. Save the page to publish it. Press Save at the bottom of the page to publish it to your server.
A layout you applied but never saved is lost when you leave the page. Watch for the save bar at the bottom before you navigate away.
If premium ends
Your custom layout and your uploaded background are kept. The card falls back to one of the supplied layouts and backgrounds in the meantime, and everything you built comes back when you resubscribe.
This feature requires a Premium Subscription.
