Managing your subscription
Change your plan, add or remove add-ons, move premium to another server, download invoices and cancel.
Everything about a subscription is handled on one dashboard page. There is no slash command for billing.
Access the Web Dashboard
Open your Tickety Dashboard. Log in using your Discord Account.
Navigate to Premium & AI
Pick the server the subscription is on, then click Premium & AI in the sidebar.
What the page shows
| Section | What it is for |
|---|---|
| The subscription card at the top | The plan name, a status chip and the renewal date, plus the Manage billing button |
| Addons | The Custom Bot and AI Addon cards, each marked Active or Not active |
| AI Credits | Your balance and the credit pack checkout, covered on AI Credits |
| Move premium to another server | Sends this server's subscription somewhere else |
| Move premium here | Brings one of your subscriptions onto this server |
| Frequently Asked Questions | The same answers, written for the state your server is in |
The status chip reads Active while everything is normal, Trial during a trial, Payment issue after a failed payment, Paused while the subscription is paused, and Lifetime on a lifetime plan.
Manage billing
Manage billing opens the billing portal. It handles:
- Switching between the Monthly Plan and the Yearly Plan.
- Adding or removing the Custom Bot and AI Addon add-ons.
- Updating your payment method.
- Downloading invoices and receipts.
- Cancelling.
Upgrades are charged right away, with credit for the time you already paid. Downgrades apply immediately and the difference is credited against your next bill.
The button only appears for the person who bought the subscription. The portal opens that person's own purchases, so a different server admin cannot open it, even with full dashboard access. If someone else paid, they have to make the change.
Changes are locked while a payment has failed, while the subscription is paused, and while another change is already scheduled. The page says which of those applies underneath the subscription card.
Adding or removing an add-on
Before you buy a plan, you pick add-ons on the same page and they go into the same checkout. After you have a plan, you add or remove them in the billing portal.
An add-on can only be bought at the interval of the plan it sits on, so a yearly plan takes yearly add-ons. Add-ons are never sold on their own.
Moving premium to another server
A subscription covers one server, and you can move it yourself in either direction.
- On the server that has premium, pick the destination under Destination server and press Move premium.
- On the server you want it on, find the subscription in Move premium here and press Move here. The card names the server it is on now and how many moves are left.
Both routes ask you to confirm, then move premium and its add-ons immediately. The old server drops to free at that moment.
| Rule | Detail |
|---|---|
| How often | 2 moves per calendar month, per subscription |
| When it resets | on the 1st |
| Who can do it | only the person who bought the subscription |
| What moves | premium and its add-ons |
| What stays behind | AI credits, always. Every server keeps the credits it bought |
When a payment fails
The subscription switches to Payment issue and premium stays active while the payment is retried, so nothing stops working straight away. Update your payment method in the billing portal before the retries run out. Plan and add-on changes stay locked until the payment succeeds.
Cancelling
Cancel in the billing portal, from Manage billing.
- Premium stays active until the end of the period you already paid for.
- The server then returns to the free tier. Your configuration is kept, see what changes when premium ends.
- Removing Tickety from your server does not cancel a subscription, and neither does
/reset. Cancel in the portal.
Invoices
Invoices and receipts are in the billing portal, under the same Manage billing button. They are issued to the person who bought the subscription.
Lifetime and legacy plans
Some servers hold plans that predate the current checkout, and their page looks slightly different:
- Lifetime Premium stays active on that server forever. The plan cannot be changed and add-ons cannot be added to it. AI credit packs are still available.
- Subscriptions bought before the current checkout open an older billing portal instead. It asks for the email address the subscription was bought with. Payment details, invoices and cancelling work there. Plan switches and add-on changes do not, and the add-on cards read
Not available on this server's plan.
