The Big Summer Update 2026: Components V2, Multi Embeds and a New Welcomer

Our biggest release of the year brings Components V2, multi embeds, an all new welcomer system, applications you can fill in from your browser, automations triggered by autoresponders, private transcripts and one of the largest dashboard overhauls we have ever shipped.

The Big Summer Update is our biggest release of the year. A brand new welcome system, Components V2, multi embeds, and one of the largest dashboard overhauls we have ever shipped, all live now on every server running Tickety. Here is the full tour of what changed and why it matters for your community.

Components V2: design messages without embed limits

Embeds have always come with a fixed layout. Title on top, description underneath, image at the bottom, buttons in a row at the end. Components V2 removes that entirely. You build the message out of blocks instead, so you can place buttons anywhere you want, put an image next to your text, add a full width gallery, split content with separators, and group things into sections.

In practice this means your ticket panels, welcome messages, and application panels can finally look the way you pictured them, rather than the way the embed format allowed. The builder in the dashboard shows the real layout as you work, so what you design is what your members see. Components V2 is a Premium feature for now.

Multi embeds

You can now send several embeds in a single message. Use one for the header, another for the details, another for the rules, and they arrive together as one clean post instead of a stack of separate messages. Every server gets 2 embeds per message for free, with more available on Premium.

An all new welcomer system

Tickety now greets your new members for you. The welcomer sends a fully customisable message whenever somebody joins, built with the same message builder you already use for panels, which means embeds, buttons, placeholders, and Components V2 layouts all work here too.

Point it at any channel, personalise it with the member's name and your server details, and every new arrival lands on something that feels intentional instead of an empty chat. It is configured entirely from the dashboard, so there is nothing to script.

Better ticket welcome messages

The message that greets somebody inside a fresh ticket picked up two useful additions:

  • A Request Close button. A close can now be proposed with one click instead of a command. It posts a close request in the ticket with approve and cancel buttons, and it can automatically close the ticket after a set time if nobody responds. The button follows the same permissions as the /ticket requestclose command, so whoever you allow to run that command can use the button too.
  • Automatic silent mentions when you are offline. If a ticket opens outside your support hours, the welcome message quietly notes it and pings without the noise, so members know when to expect a reply and your staff do not get woken up at three in the morning.

Applications in your browser

Applications no longer have to happen in Discord. Members can now open your application form on the dashboard and fill it in from their browser, with proper text fields, long answers, and checkboxes instead of a stack of modals. It is friendlier on mobile, it handles long form questions far better, and reviewers still see everything in the same place they always have.

Automations

Automations let you connect actions together into a workflow. Instead of configuring one behaviour at a time, you chain them, so a single trigger can create a ticket, assign a role, send a message, and log the result.

The big addition this release is that autoresponders can now start an automation. When a member says something your autoresponder recognises, it can do more than reply. It can open a ticket for them, alert your team, or run whatever chain you built. Repetitive support work that used to need a human now handles itself.

Embed fields

Embeds now support fields, so you can lay information out in tidy labelled columns rather than one long description. Pricing tables, rule summaries, ticket details, and server information all read much better this way, and it gives your messages a lot more structure without extra work.

Panel templates

Starting from scratch every time is tedious, so we added templates. Pick a ready made Ticket or Application panel and you have a working, good looking panel in seconds. You can also save your own panels as templates to your account and reuse them across every server you manage, which is a real time saver if you run more than one community.

Private transcripts

Transcripts are how you keep a record of what was said in a ticket, but not every conversation should be readable by everyone. Private transcripts let you decide exactly who can open one, with separate controls for the ticket opener, your staff, and anyone holding a share link. Sensitive tickets stay sensitive, and you still keep the paper trail.

A dashboard overhaul

This is one of the largest dashboard passes we have ever done. Pages look cleaner, common tasks take fewer clicks, and the rough edges that quietly slowed you down are gone. The headline addition is a brand new emoji picker that makes customising buttons, panels, and messages genuinely quick, including your own server emojis.

Improved logging

Log channels can now be threads. If your logs were burying your channel list, you can tuck them into a thread and keep everything organised without losing any detail.

What else is new

  • Visual ticket history. The history command now generates custom charts, turning raw ticket activity into clear statistics at a glance.
  • Statusboard command. See your support team's current workload and how busy things are right now, in one command.
  • Checkbox questions. Ticket forms support checkbox questions, so you can collect structured answers instead of free text.
  • Role automation. Assign or remove roles automatically when a ticket is created or closed.
  • Giveaways in the dashboard. Browse your active giveaways straight from the browser.
  • More flexible role requirements. Choose whether a member needs any or all of the selected roles, for finer control over who gets access.
  • Expected response time placeholder. Show your current expected response time dynamically inside any message.
  • Improved analytics. Cleaner and more insightful reporting, so you can actually see how your support is performing.
  • Bug fixes and polish. A long list of smaller fixes, stability work, and refinements across the whole of Tickety.

How to get the summer update

There is nothing to install and nothing to migrate. The update is already live on every server running Tickety, and your existing panels, tickets, and settings keep working exactly as before. The new modules are waiting in the dashboard whenever you want to switch them on.

If Tickety is not on your server yet, add it here and follow our setup guide to get a working ticket system live in about five minutes. Curious how Tickety compares to the alternatives? Read our breakdown of the best Discord ticket bot, or look back at everything that landed in the v3 release.

Thank you for all the feedback, bug reports, and feature requests. Every update is shaped by what you tell us, and we are excited to keep building Tickety with you.

Frequently asked questions

What is new in the Tickety Summer Update 2026?

The Big Summer Update adds Components V2 for messages without embed layout limits, multi embeds, an all new welcomer system, applications members can fill in from their browser, automations that autoresponders can trigger, embed fields, panel templates, private transcripts and a large dashboard overhaul with a new emoji picker.

What is Components V2 in Tickety?

Components V2 replaces the fixed embed layout with building blocks. You can place buttons anywhere in the message, put an image beside your text, add full width galleries, sections and separators, and design ticket panels and welcome messages exactly the way you want them. It is a Premium feature for now.

How does the new welcomer system work?

The welcomer sends a fully customisable message whenever somebody joins your server. You build it with the same message builder used for panels, so embeds, buttons, placeholders and Components V2 layouts all work, and you configure it entirely from the dashboard.

Do I need to update anything to get the summer update?

No. The update is already live on every server running Tickety. Your existing panels, tickets and settings keep working exactly as before, and the new modules are ready to switch on from the dashboard.

Who can use the new Request Close button?

The Request Close button follows the exact same permissions as the /ticket requestclose command, so whoever you allow to run that command can use the button. By default that means your admin role, the panel support roles and anyone with Manage Channels, and you can grant it to other roles from the command permissions page in the dashboard. The request itself posts in the ticket with approve and cancel buttons, and it can close the ticket automatically after a set time.
